Gem Diamonds Ltd, up 5.1% at 12.87 pence, 12-month range 7.67p-20.00p. The firm recovers a

123.20 carat type II white diamond from its Letseng mine in Lesotho. "This is the eighth greater than 100 carat diamond recovered in 2024," it says.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

Nanoco Group PLC, down 24% at 15.03p, 12-month range 13.14p-24.00p. The developer and manufacturer of cadmium-free quantum dots and other nanomaterials expects annual revenue below consensus of GBP8.4 million. This is due to the "delayed receipt" of a second production orders.
